Line Cook

Crux is excited to announce that they have reopened their kitchen with a new kitchen manager leading the way.

As a Line Cook your main duties will be to prepare food before and after cooking with regards to the standards and recipes of Crux. You will need to make sure that everything is in order – from the prepping of food up to the clean up after cooking. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Compensation includes:

Lead Line Cook

Full-Time

We are looking to add a Lead Line Cook to our team at Crux Fermentation Project.

A successful candidate will have prior leadership experience, a positive attitude, be a team player with the ability to both give and follow directions. The Lead Line Cook is responsible for opening and closing duties, and accountable for complete food preparation and supervision of junior staff in the kitchen. General supervision and direction are a key responsibility of being a Lead-Line Cook, ensuring that the kitchen is always functioning smoothly, safely and efficiently. This position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager.

Tasting Room Assistant Manager

The Tasting Room Assistant Manager supports the TR General Manager. They provide oversight and support to all staff positions in the front of the house, as well as oversee and coordinate the day-to-day FOH operations of the Tasting Room, including but not limited to the duties & responsibilities outlined. The responsibilities include, hiring and training of both Floor Supervisors and hourly teams, daily execution of safety/sanitation, quality food preparation and guest service. The TR- Assistant Manager will also identify repetitive processes that should be streamlined and standardized in order to improve our efficient delivery of a superior customer experience at Crux (SOP development/implementation). It is essential that the TR- Assistant Manager form working relationships with all restaurant staff, as such strong team relationships will be essential to the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Tasting Room.

Brewer/Cellar

Full-Time

We’re looking for someone who wants to join our experienced brewing team here at Crux and help us brew some of the best beer in the Pacific Northwest.

As a brewer, your primary role will be the operation and upkeep of equipment and maintaining quality control throughout all aspects of the brewing and cellar processes.
