Dishwasher

As a dishwasher your primary role will be to clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Occasionally, you will also be assigned packaging shifts at our production facility where you will be assisting our packaging team.

Runner (Seasonal)

Part-Time

Runners at Crux play an important role in providing the highest level of customer service. They are highly proficient in the skill set of organizing, cleaning, and practicing efficient sanitation service. The runner will provide assistance on cleaning glassware in the bar, running food or beer to guests. The Runner will also provide assistance out on our lawn, help keep the fire pits going, and help our guests with parking in addition to other assigned duties.

Runners will occasionally be scheduled for a packaging shift at our production facility where your duties will include taking cans off the labeler, putting them back on the can line, and stacking cases of beer onto pallets.

Line Cook

Become a champion of craft beer culture by joining a fun team environment at one of the busiest breweries in all of Central Oregon.

As a Line Cook your main duties will be to prepare food before and after cooking with regards to the standards and recipes of Crux. You will need to make sure that everything is in order – from the prepping of food up to the clean up after cooking.

Full-time and part-time and seasonal positions available.

Pizza Cart Lead Cook (Seasonal)

Crux is excited to launch their Crux Pizza Cart Project full-time.  The Crux Pizza cart featuring Neapolitan-style pizzas.  If you have experience cooking pizza in a wood burning oven you will excel and get in on the start of something great.  
A successful candidate will have prior leadership experience, a positive attitude, be a team player with the ability to both give and follow directions. The Pizza Cart Lead Cook is responsible for opening and closing duties, and accountable for complete food preparation and supervision of junior staff in the kitchen. General supervision and direction are a key responsibility of being a Pizza Cart Lead Cook. This position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager. This is a seasonal position.

Kitchen Manager

Full-Time

If you are passionate about the restaurant industry, craft beer and have previous kitchen management experience, then we want to hear from you. Our busy tasting room needs a hard-working, self-motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all culinary activities for the tasting room. This position will oversee all activity in the kitchen, train personnel, plan menus, oversee product purchasing and manage culinary budget. The ideal candidate for this position is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about food. This position is a “hands on, multi-tasking” position, which requires working in the kitchen during high volume periods as well as leading and inspiring their team. Extensive restaurant BOH knowledge is necessary for this position and regular use of independent judgement is required.

Beertender (Seasonal)

Part-Time

The Beertender is one of the most knowledgeable ambassadors to the Crux brand. They provide excellent guest service as a Beertender, introducing new beers to guests, providing knowledge about every major brewing vessel at the pub. They are highly proficient in the skill set of serving our guests. Beertenders have mastered the art of service and operate with a sense of urgency. This requires a person who enjoys being a part of team and gives help and also asks for help when needed. This person is a leader and an encourager. Cicerone Level 1 Certified Beer Server is required.
