In New Zealand, “Kia Kaha” means “Stay Strong”. We’re embracing these words of reassurance as a rallying cry here at Crux, and bringing them to life via this smooth and undeniably refreshing hazy pale ale, brimming with the bright tropical flavors of the Motueka hop from New Zealand, and sporting a smooth, clean, citrus finish.

Set the mainsail, trim the jib, and sail off into the unknown with us as we endeavor to craft yet another out-of-this-world IPA. For this space-hopped iteration, we circumnavigated the planet to collect a cosmic array of citrus and tropical flavors in the form of a full payload of Galaxy, Strata, and Comet hops. The resulting IPA is a juicy journey through the cosmos that’s categorically refreshing and truly a trip worth taking.

Oh so crisp and undeniably refreshing, this Lawn Party loudly declares that summer is here! With hints of pine, citrus, and melon from Strata and Centennial hops, this hop forward golden ale invites you to sit back and soak in the summer sun. (Limited Release 2021: Available April – August)

Sip on some history with our latest IPA featuring Vic Secret and Galaxy hops sourced from Tasmania’s Bushy Park Estates, the birthplace of Australian hops. They’ve been harvesting hops here for over 150 years, and we’d like to think you can taste the tradition in this modern IPA packed with distinctive flavors of passion fruit and pineapple along with a pinch of pine.

Never satisfied by mere repetition, we decided to shake things up with this sessionable stout brewed with lactose sugar and malted rye. A blend of both sweet and dry stoutly traditions, rumbling with chocolatey undertones and subtle hints of spice, this is a smooth and creamy ale of seismic juxtapositions.

Low on bitterness and high on drinkability, this everyday IPA boasts a deliciously dank dose of whole flower CTZ hops with a touch of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Comet for a slightly juicy finish that’s pure, hoppy refreshment. Keep this new classic close, it’ll never let you down.

In pursuit of the next great Hazy IPA, safety is not guaranteed. To craft this highly drinkable adaptation of the style, we evaded all the murky, mysterious gimmicks in favor of a balanced body of flaked oats and wheat accompanied by whole leaf Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops popping with juicy, tropical flavors. Dangerously delicious, this hazy drinks clean and keeps you coming back for more.

There’s no substitute for brewing things right, and the six months of patience as this rare breed blossomed in the barrel was the least of our endeavors to deliver this no-frills interpretation of an American wheatwine. This labor-intensive strong ale delivers delicate notes of candied fruit, caramel, and vanilla with a well-rounded mouthfeel worth getting all worked up over. (Released February 2020)

A jazz artist might declare this funky blend of aged and unaged imperial saisons, as “in the pocket!” An avant garde combo that generates an irresistible groove. Aged in northwest red wine barrels, the elder imperial saison lays down the tart oaky notes in lock step with the wild improv of the younger brett duet. Can you dig it? (Released 2017, 2018, 2019)

Flanders Reds may be called the Burgundies of Belgium, but we age our take on this complex style in red wine barrels for about a year with Brettanomyces induced secondary fermentation. A fresh batch will offer up spicier notes while older versions display more oak and yield cherry flavors. So we blended them figuring we’re better off presenting this exotic mélange simultaneously. (Released 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)

After a fun day in the mountains, nothing sounds more satisfying than sharing a refreshing pint. And while that long line of brake lights heading back into town may slow your journey towards fulfillment, this hoppy yet balanced red ale is well worth the wait – robust and bursting with rich, hop flavors and a balanced malt body this easy-drinking, apres-whatever winterrefresher will have you seeing a different shade of red. Dank with a classic West Coast-style bitterness, this groovy ale gets its big tropical and candy tangerine flavors from dry-hopped Simcoe hops rocking in rhythm with floral Amarillo hops added on the backend for a smooth, slightly sweet finish that’s best served with good vibes and great friends.

Introducing this new-era IPA that sparkles with big, juicy hop flavor and aroma without any hazy impurities. We love brewing with fresh hops and this year we’re excited to be brewing this early harvest IPA using the brand new McKenzie Hop developed by West Coast Hop Breeding.
